ASHAV Youth Scholarship Program
​
​Each year ASHAV offers a scholarship to one or two individuals, depending on the number of applicants, for each college or university school year. The completed application and attached transcripts are due to the Scholarship Chairman by February 1st.
​
The individual applying should be an active ASHAV member, 21 years of age and under at grade 11 or higher, who demonstrates financial need, a commitment to the American Saddlebred industry and academic success.

The ASHAV Youth will be hosting junior judging at select horse shows this year. All junior judging sessions will take place on the Friday night session at each of the shows. In addition, we are excited to offer a Junior Judging High Point Award for 2026.

To be eligible for the High Point division, participants must:

Be a current 2026 ASHAV Youth member

Complete the ASHAV Junior Judging High Point Form

Participate in a minimum of four classes at each ASHAV Junior Judging horse show, with at least three horses in each class
Points will be accumulated from the following horse shows:

Bonnie Blue National Horse Show- May 8th
-
Shenandoah Classic Horse Show -June 19th
-
ASHAV Horse Show-September 23rd
Participants are not required to attend every show; however, points will be tabulated based on the results from these three shows.

High Point Awards will be presented at the 2027 ASHAV Awards Banquet next March.
