Hall of Fame Nominations
Eligibility
Membership-Nominees must be, or have been, a member in good standing with ASHAV
Eligible Roles-Nominees can be competitors, trainers, officials, breeders, or other contributors who have made significant contributions to the American Saddlebred breed, sport, and organization.
Posthumous Awards-Nominations for deceased individuals will be accepted and considered equally.

Criteria for Selection
1. Promotion of the Breed

Actively promoted the growth, education and awareness of the American Saddlebred in Virginia and West Virginia area
2. Achievement & Contribution to the Breed
-
Significant competitive success or leadership in the Saddlebred industry
-
Advancement of ASHAV programs, events, or initiatives
3. Sportsmanship & Integrity
-
Upheld the highest standards of sportsmanship
-
Served as a positive example for peers
4. Service
-
Demonstrated volunteerism or behind the scenes contributions to ASHAV

Nomination Process
Any current ASHAV member in good standing may nominate an individual for the ASHAV Hall of Fame.
To submit a nomination, please provide the following by email or complete the form below
· Information and Years of Involvement – Outline the nominee’s history with ASHAV.
· Summary of Achievements and Contributions – Detail the nominee’s impact within ASHAV and the American Saddlebred community.
· Personal Statement-Detailed opinion on why the nominee should receive induction into the ASHAV Hall of Fame.

All nominations must be submitted by 09/05/2025 to be considered for the 2025 induction. Nominations will be reviewed by the ASHAV Executive Board, and inductees will be announced and honored during the annual ASHAV Horse Show at the Virginia Horse Center in September.
