What ASHAV Offers....

• Seven Futurity divisions - (3) Open (3) Old Dominion futurities, for weanlings, yearlings and 2 year olds and (1) Amateur Weanling Futurity.
• ASHAV offers High Point Awards annually in various divisions. The purpose of these awards is to promote the American Saddlebred Horse and expose the breed to the general public.
• Youth group members meet regularly for educational activities and social events.
• The ASHAV Horse Show is held at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia in September. This show has become one of the areas largest events.
• ASHAV assists horse shows in our state. In addition to providing sponsorship money for classes we also offer assistance planning classes.
• The Annual Meeting is usually held in February. This three day affair includes a Welcome Party, Educational Lecture or Clinic, Auction, Dinner, Dance, and Presentation of Awards.
